And no I'm not dead: d!
I had a long break from writing this blog, for various reasons: Studies involved, relative stagnation in my progress ... But one event gave me faith in this blog!
Indeed, March 30, for the first time, I am lined up at the start of a race, running the half marathon La Rochelle (to a brief history of my preparation before the event, 40km/semaine since September but still no split). Despite the weather
Dante, this race went pretty well for me, I quietly made the 10premiers kilometers (just over 50minutes), my main concern was to get to the finish, I then mounted the pace and without having the impression of excessive force, which was very nice, especially since many riders began to wane!
However, I do not boast about, given my final time: 1h45minutes! So I was pleased but slightly disappointed with the impression of having too kept underfoot.
This first competition finally motivated me to put myself in split!
here the curve of one of my sessions "split", consisting of 30 minutes to warm up, then 6x400m fast alternating with slower phases: (click to enlarge)
Riders confirmed, n Do not hesitate to give me your opinion;)
These relatively good performance convinced me to take the plunge: I registered for the marathon of the first ratings Blaye May 18
I hope to finish, and finish in good condition! The prospect of challenge significantly increases my motivation!
