New York ... then a race 14km
I went to New York in mid-June to spend 10 days holiday, and I really liked the big apple! I will not tell you my vacation here, but the bottom, I really enjoyed!
In terms of running, I made three trips in 10 days, running into the campus of the University where I was lodged, the University Fordham in the Bronx.
Why only 3 outputs? Because it was over 35 ° on average! And each trip I heard "you're crazy dude!"
Otherwise I took the opportunity to buy ASICS DS TRAINER on 5th Avenue (100dollar or 77 €!) I unfortunately could not run in Central Park, which was 1 hour subway from the Bronx!
Back in the USA, I decided to sign on a 14km race, which took place in Laleu and the obvious. For those who do not conaissent it is a port district, which contains eg the military base that served as backdrop to the film "Das boot". It's a neighborhood that feels like traveling through time, as shops, bars, hotels, port facilities, give the impression of not having moved since the 1950s.
The race went pretty well for me, I completed the 14km in 1h01minutes despite the 60km bike made the day before (not very serious, I know!)
I decided to set myself a goal after race: Make me a 15km, passing under an hour!
